BECOMING AN OUTSTANDING CHURCH LEADER

The need for the church in a time like this transcends what it has always been. The church needs more than orators, teachers with unfounded preconceived and self-formed ideas who are only out to for the sensation. More than ever, the church is in dire need of committed hands that are highly motivated and filled with a hunger for the standards and principles of Christ to gain directions and meet the set goals of the church.

Apart from her well-known assignment of the great commission, The church needs to take a position that will instill hope in the heart of the people and strengthen their faith at the same time. The church needs bold, courageous, and innovative leaders to inspire, empower, and encourage the people to be firm and productive in the face of uncertainty that the world is facing.

However, leadership is not just the art of getting things done; it is also an art that can be improved on, developed, and perfected with all intentionality.

One of the ways to improve the quality of what the church can do is for every worker to see the need to be more dedicated and innovatively do things better.

Therefore, they must strive to be outstanding in their services to effectively carry on God’s mandate. Without the right leaders, it will be difficult for a church to continue to thrive for generations, especially when it matters.

Church leaders must place priority on the need to influence the people not through manipulation but an exemplary lifestyle. This is not a time for leaders to oppress and overpower others with their authority, Instead, leaders are to serve others just as Jesus demonstrated in his leadership.

The list of what is required to become an outstanding church leader is inexhaustible but below are some of what the church leaders need to do to advance the task of building the people and expanding God’s kingdom.

As a leader, the nudge to keep seeing your leadership to the people as a service to God should not be far from you at any time. This should make you see yourself as a shepherd who must do everything within his reach to properly nurture his sheep and vigorously drive your intent desire to inspire, empower and encourage them to fulfill their God-given purposes.
2 Tim 2:15 (NLT) says, Therefore, work hard so you can present yourself to God and receive his approval. Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains the word of truth.

You have been called to move people from where they are to where they are supposed to be irrespective of the harshness of the time. This is your leadership, this is your calling; BE OUTSTANDING
